Fire Island Communities
Fire Island Lighthouse
Kismet – is the western-most town on Fire Island. Kismet is just a short walk or bicycle ride from Field 5 at Rober Moses State Park. This charming beach town offers two restaurants, a pizza shop and a grocery store.

Atlantique – is one of the smaller Fire Island towns with approximately 50 homes. There are no shops or restaurants and only a snack stand for local essentials.
Robbins Rest – located next door to Ocean Beach, is also a small residential town with approximately 40 homes. There is only one restaurant, Tequila Jacks, that offers great dining and live music.
Corneille Estates – is a small but well populated community right next door to Ocean Beach. The population is predominantly young people who enjoy the benefit of living close to all that Ocean Beach has to offer.
Ocean Beach
Seaview – is a lovely residential community nestled between Ocean Beach and Ocean Bay Park. It offers a grocery store, liquor store and an ice cream shop. Many of the homes here are situated on larger, more private pieces of property.
Ocean Bay Park
Point of Woods – is the oldest community on Fire Island. It is self contained with a grocery store, kids day camp and its own ferry. This community is surrounded by a 15 foot fence and treasures its quiet seclusions. This is not the place for night life.
Sailor’s Haven & the Sunken Forest – is a day trip destination without residences. Sailor's Haven offers public beaches, picnic areas and an ice cream stand. The Sunken Forest is a very unique habitat offering a great way to spend a day out of the sun. Sunken Forest.
Cherry Grove
The Pines
Water Island – is a small and extremely private community next to Davis Park. This community is buffered from the activity of the rest of Fire Island and offers secluded privacy.
